Al-Falah Aam Unnayan Sangstha (AFAUS) a non-government voluntary development organization, that has been working around northern region of the country with some believes and participations of people from 1989. It has been implementing different need-based development programs aims to socio-economic, cultural, environment and Human Rights development for the poor community for more than 34-years. The organization has been emerged by some local and enthusiastic men, who are always engaged in social work, benefiting the poor community ensuring all level stake holders’ active participation in the development process. The major strategy of AFAUS development programs implementation is to identify, mobilize and utilize the available resources in the areas. The target beneficiaries are less-privileged and downtrodden people of rural and urban areas, like distressed, landless, homeless, unemployed, marginal farmers, small range businessmen and different professionals, who are living under below poverty line.
